In Literacy we made up an imaginary planet and we wrote about our landing there, then we described one of its inhabitant: a new alien friend!!

Easter Bonnet Parade

SCIENCE:GROWING A PLANT

WAITANGI DAY

At school we are celebrating Waitangi Day, New Zealand´s National Day.Year-2 students investigated about animals in New Zealand. One of the most popular is the kiwi.

Kiwis are birds but they can´t fly. They have a long beak and hair- like feathers. They are so cute!!!

SCIENCE: Growing a plant

All Year-2 students planted some beans last week... but they weren´t magic!!We are learning how a plant grows. We are writing a bean diary. Look at the pictures:

USING WHITEBOARDS IN LITERACY
